Your document file stays on your device. Only the plain text content is sent to an AI model (Claude) for analysis. No formatting, images, or metadata are transmitted. The text is processed in real time and not stored.
Is the redaction permanent?
Yes. The sensitive text is replaced with [REDACTED] in the document's XML structure. The original text is completely removed — not just hidden or covered.
Can I choose what to redact?
Yes. After the AI scan, you can toggle entire categories on or off (e.g., keep dates but redact names). You can also add custom terms to redact.
What AI model is used?
